Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effect of nursing program improvements on improving the utilization rate of gradient compression stockings in patients at high risk of deep vein thrombosis. Methods: To set up a special project improvement group, determine the topic of special project improvement, set 40 patients with postoperative Caprin score >5 before the implementation of special project improvement activities, i.e., from January to May 2022 in our hospital, as the control group, and 40 patients with postoperative Caprin score >5 after the implementation of special project improvement activities, i.e., from July to November 2022 in our hospital as the experimental group, and count the number of patients using gradient compression stockings to prevent deep vein thrombosis, and investigate the effect of using gradient compression stockings in improving the utilization rate of patients with high risk of deep vein thrombosis. The number of patients using gradient compression stockings to prevent deep vein thrombosis, the survey of patients' knowledge about deep vein thrombosis and satisfaction with care, and the comparison of the differences between the two groups before and after the project improvement. Results: The use rate of gradient compression stockings in the experimental group was 82.5% higher than that of gradient compression stockings in the control group, which was 15%, with statistically significant differences (p < 0.05); the experimental group's knowledge of DVT was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences (p < 0.05); and the experimental group's satisfaction with nursing care increased from 91.73 points to 98.75 points, with statistically significant differences (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Project management can effectively increase the utilization rate of gradient compression stockings for high-risk patients with deep vein thrombosis and improve patients' knowledge of deep vein thrombosis and satisfaction with nursing care.

Abstract: Background: Venous malformations (VMs) are a rare disease with an incidence of only about 1/10,000 in children, but VMs can expand as the child grows, appearing more in shallow skin areas such as the neck of the head, can cause discomfort or degradation, and therefore, can seriously affect the physical and mental health of the child. There are numerous treatment options for VMs, and interventional embolosclerotherapy has become the clinically preferred treatment for VMs due to its many advantages. Case Presentation: We summarize the perioperative care experience of a 10-year-old child with severe right facial malformation diagnosed as facial venous malformation (VMs) who underwent interventional embolization during hospitalization. After 14 days of careful treatment and nursing by medical staff, the child was discharged successfully. Discussion: The key points of our perioperative care for this patient include paying attention to the mental health of the child and providing psychological support; strengthening health education and paying attention to the prevention of falls; preoperative preparation; intraoperative care; observation of the condition; pain assessment and care; strengthening discharge guidance; and doing a good job in continuous nursing. Conclusion: For the nursing of the child with facial venous malformations, it is necessary to pay attention not only to their physiological care but also to their psychological care to help them recover as soon as possible.

Abstract: Objective: To explore the standardized nursing cooperation method in the process of biological functional denture restoration. Methods: From January 2022 to January 2024, 82 patients with full edentulous jaws restored with biological functional dentures in the Department of Stomatology, a Grade III level A hospital in Hubei Province were selected. The standardized four-handed operation nursing cooperation was implemented, and the time doctors took the primary impression, the satisfaction rate of doctors with the four-handed operation cooperation ofs nurses, and the satisfaction rate of patients with nursing service were evaluated. Results: the average time of the doctors to make the first impression was 32.37±1.30 min, the satisfaction rate of the doctors to the nurses' four-hand operation was 100%, and the satisfaction rate of the patients to the nursing service was 99%. Conclusion: The standardized four-hand operation in the process of biological functional restoration system could improve the work efficiency and the satisfaction of doctors and patients, which was worthy of clinical promotion.
